Give your unwanted tools a new life in Africa!

South Birmingham Tools for Africa is a voluntary group that restores tools and equipment and works with  the national charity Tools For Self Reliance to put them in the hands of tradesmen and women in six African countries so that they can provide for their families.

We need woodwork, mechanics, engineers and gardening tools and sewing machines for the project but all donations are welcome.

Any donations unsuitable for the projects in Africa will be sold to fund shipping, refurbishment and training costs.

The group meet at Moseley and Kings Heath Shed at Kings Heath Park on Tuesdays from 10am to 4pm to receive and refurbish tools so if you’ve tools to donate or would like to get involved we’d love to see you.

If you’d like help with collecting donations or join our group then call Dawn on 07773-229269 or Rob on 07754-739387 or contact us via info@sbtfa.org.uk.

We regularly sell refurbished gardening tools in Kings Heath Farmers Market and at other local events. See our Facebook page for details. Other tools and collectibles are available from our E-Bay Store
